New hires and promotions for MW Polymers
Little Eaton-based MW Polymers, a leading manufacturer of industrial sealants, adhesives and coatings, has today announced a wave of appointments and promotions. The move comes in a bid to strengthen the management and warehouse teams respectively.
“We’re going from strength to strength, which is reflected in our latest promotions and appointments,” said Joe Wild, Operations Director. “At a time when UK manufacturers are facing an array of challenges, we’re delighted to be growing as a company and supporting the local economy in the process.”
To strengthen the senior management team, Audrey Cope has joined the company as office manager bringing with her a wealth of experience. She will play an important role in the day-to-day operations and will lead the company through its upcoming ISO transition.
Commenting on her new role, Audrey said: “Having come from a large manufacturing company, I understand what is required to take the company to the next level. I’m looking forward to working with the team and building upon the strategic vision that was announced earlier in the year. With a flurry of changes, the team is invigorated and ready for the challenges ahead.”
Following the recent period of growth, Jon Bell has been promoted from warehouse operative to quality assurance manager and Tim Paulson has been promoted to team leader. Both will play a crucial role within the warehouse team as the company looks to grow and expand throughout the year and beyond.
In addition to the internal promotions, Asif Habib and Stephen Waldron, who initially joined the company on a temporary basis in January, have had their contracts extended due to the increase in demand. They have been taken on to support the team in the warehouse as 2018 shapes up to be a bumper year.
Joe Wild, Operations Director, added: “We appreciate the commitment and dedication of all our staff. We know we’d be nothing without the hard work and effort they put in. We’ve got a great team behind us and it’s a really exciting time to be part of the company. Congratulations to Jon and Tim on their promotions and welcome to Audrey, Asif and Stephen – they’re great additions. We look forward to continued growth throughout the year.”
