Bar Holes & Drilled Cores
For bar holes and cores, MW Polymers offers two options. If a pre-formed plug isn’t suitable for the opening, its injectable Barhole Sealant can be used to fill the void and form a durable, watertight seal. Where a plug is appropriate, MW Polymers supplies flexible polymer plugs in a range of sizes from 8 mm to 50 mm; the company says they can be removed if access or future maintenance is needed

Hairline and Linear Cracks
For concrete and tarmac carriageways or footways, MW Polymers’ Barhole Sealant is intended to fill and seal cracks, helping prevent water and loose road fines from entering the pavement. By closing these pathways, it can help reduce the risk of the surrounding surface weakening and the defect growing over time. It is best understood as a crack- and void-sealing product, not a material for rebuilding a substantial pothole or replacing missing pavement.

Small, Localised Surface Damage
MW Polymers’ wider concrete-and-tarmac repair range is described as including flexible polyurethane bitumen-free systems, with repair and joint-sealing applications. The right choice depends on the substrate and damage, but the available product pages don’t provide enough technical detail to specify a particular resin for every repair

Established Potholes or Larger Hole
MW Polymers provides resin-based repair and sealing solutions for tarmac and concrete. Its two-part polyurethane Barhole Sealant fills bar holes and seals cracks, helping keep out water and loose fines that can worsen surface damage. In partnership with Germany’s TIB Chemicals, MW Polymers also offers PRODOFIX® FC 1, a pourable, two-component acrylic resin for potholes, cracks and pitting in road surfaces. It can also be used to embed adjustable gas and water supply lids.
