Advanced Automotive & Motorsport Component Protection Solutions

With over 40 years of expertise in high-performance sealants and adhesives, MW Polymers supports leading automotive manufacturers, motorsport teams, and performance engineering specialists. We understand the extreme conditions vehicles are subjected to—high vibration, thermal cycling, chemical exposure, and dynamic mechanical loading—whether on the road, in the workshop, or on the track.

Our product range includes automotive-grade sealants, adhesives, and reinforcement materials engineered for compatibility with carbon fibre composites, aluminium, steel, engineered plastics, and hybrid structures commonly used in performance vehicle construction. These formulations deliver reliable bonding, vibration damping, and sealing performance without adding unnecessary weight—critical for vehicle dynamics and race tuning.

We supply versatile materials suitable for use across chassis components, aero housings, interior assemblies, engine bays, cooling systems, and drivetrain layouts. And when a specific performance requirement or build specification demands something more tailored, our team can develop custom formulations

ENCAPX™ encapsulation resins

Encapsulation resins are used to protect electronic control units, wiring looms, sensors, and electrical modules throughout vehicles and motorsport systems. Their role is to shield critical electronics from moisture, vibration, dust, cleaning fluids, and thermal variation encountered both on the road and under race conditions.

Our polyurethane encapsulation resins are formulated specifically for automotive and high-performance environments. They offer excellent flexibility and impact resistance, allowing them to absorb continuous vibration, shock loading, and chassis movement without cracking or separating. These materials also maintain dependable performance across a wide temperature range—from engine bays and underbody housings to exterior-mounted sensor units.

Additionally, they are engineered to meet UL94 V-0 flammability standards, providing reliable fire-resistant protection and supporting safety compliance for production vehicles, modified performance builds, and motorsport applications alike.

TITAN WRAP™ – emergency repair bandage

Titan Wrap™ is a rapid-setting, water-activated pipe and line repair bandage designed for use across automotive, motorsport, and performance workshop environments. Once wetted and applied to the damaged area, Titan Wrap™ cures within minutes to form a strong, rigid reinforcement sleeve that seals leaks and restores system integrity—even under demanding track or road conditions.

Ideal for pit-lane repairs, workshop servicing, race-day contingency fixes, and field maintenance, Titan Wrap™ bonds securely to metal, plastic, rubber, fibreglass, carbon fibre components, and composite pipework—even in oily, damp, or pressurised systems commonly found in high-performance vehicles.

Lightweight, compact, and easy to store in toolkits, service vehicles, and race support rigs, Titan Wrap™ requires no specialised tools and can be applied quickly by technicians. This helps minimise downtime and keeps critical systems such as coolant circuits, turbo and intercooler lines, fuel delivery systems, and hydraulic loops operational and race-ready.

Once cured, Titan Wrap™ forms a corrosion-resistant, impact-tolerant, and vibration-stable seal capable of withstanding heat cycling, continuous chassis vibration, pressure fluctuation, and the mechanical stresses associated with both track competition and high-duty road use.

When speed, reliability, and immediate repair capability are essential, Titan Wrap™ delivers the performance that automotive and motorsport engineers rely on.

Emergency Pressurised Line Leak Control
Rapidly seals active leaks on pressurised coolant lines, turbo/boost hoses, air systems, fuel delivery circuits, and hydraulic assist lines found in road and race vehicles.

Reinforcement of Corroded or Thinned Pipe Sections
Restores strength to weakened or heat-cycled pipework, preventing further deterioration and maintaining system reliability under track and road loads.

Sealing Micro-Cracks and Fine Perforations
Closes pinholes, hairline fractures, and seepage points in metal, carbon composite, and polymer pipe systems to regain full pressure integrity.

Protection of Joints, Couplings, and Threaded Fittings
Encapsulates vulnerable unions and fittings to prevent leakage and withstand vibration, chassis flex, curb impact, kerb strikes, and high-G cornering forces.

Coverage for Bends, Elbows, and Irregular Pipe Profiles
Forms a conformal reinforcement wrap over curved, angled, or non-standard geometries where rigid clamps or collars cannot achieve reliable sealing.

Track-Side or Workshop-Ready Permanent or Temporary Repair Solution
Enables rapid repairs in the pit lane, paddock, or workshop when parts are unavailable, system shutdown is impractical, or immediate continuity is required to keep vehicles running.

Water-Triggered Curing Process
Activates and cures on contact with moisture, allowing reliable use in the workshop, paddock, pit lane, or roadside—even when surfaces cannot be fully dried.

High Pressure Resistance
Maintains sealing strength and structural reinforcement under internal system pressure and external mechanical loading during road and track use.

UL94 Flame-Rated
Meets recognised flammability safety standards, supporting use near engine bays, fuel routing, battery housings, and high-temperature components.

Rapid Cure Time
Achieves handling and service-ready strength in minutes, enabling fast turnaround during race prep, testing, and in-event repairs.

Ready for Track-Side / Workshop Deployment
Supplied in an easy-to-carry, easy-to-apply format—no specialist tools, heat sources, or controlled environment required.

Chemical Resistant
Resists degradation from fuels, hydraulic fluids, lubricants, brake cleaners, degreasers, and detailing chemicals commonly encountered in automotive and motorsport environments.

VOID-EX™ void-filling foams

Our CO₂-Free VOID-EX™ void-filling foam range is engineered to address gap filling, component support, and vibration control challenges across automotive manufacturing and motorsport vehicle builds. Designed for lightweight structural reinforcement, these foams expand to fill cavities, voids, and irregular spaces—creating stable, uniform internal support without adding unnecessary mass.

In high-performance environments, VOID-EX™ foams help reduce vibration and noise, prevent component shift during chassis loading, and protect sensitive electronics from shock and harmonic resonance. They bond effectively to carbon fibre composites, aluminium, steel, engineered plastics, and hybrid assemblies commonly used in vehicle interiors, bodywork structures, battery housings, cable runs, and under-bonnet systems.

Featuring a consistent cell matrix, controlled expansion, and low density, VOID-EX™ provides dependable mechanical stability while maintaining weight efficiency—critical for vehicle balance, aerodynamic performance, and power-to-weight optimisation. Once cured, the material offers strong dimensional stability and long-term durability under heat cycling, humidity, and continuous vibration encountered on both road and track.

VOID-EX™ is offered in multiple grades to suit specific automotive and motorsport requirements, including:

  • Lightweight structural backing for carbon fibre and composite panels

  • Vibration damping for ECU bays, sensor arrays, and wiring tunnels

  • Cushioning and bracing for interior components and access channels
